The Creator’s Identity

At the heart of the biblical creation account is a Supreme Being—the Almighty Creator of all things. Rather, the Bible describes a personal God with distinct thoughts, deep emotions, and clear purposes, backed by infinite power and wisdom. When we look at the universe through this lens, the intricate, complex design woven into every living thing suddenly makes perfect sense.

A Spiritual Nature

Because God created all physical matter, it stands to reason that He cannot be made of the very elements He brought into existence. Instead, His nature is entirely spiritual and nonphysical, completely unbound by time.

He has always existed and always will—no one created Him.

Interestingly, God also has a personal name that appears thousands of times throughout the Bible: Jehovah. Above all, Jehovah is a deeply loving Creator who cares immensely for everything He has made, especially for us.
